Why it exists
Foreclosure is a procedure-driven area of law: whether a state runs it through a court, a trustee, or either one decides the timeline, the defenses, and which attorney can actually carry the file. General legal directories flatten all of that. This site organizes foreclosure counsel the way the work is actually organized — by state, by county, and by the courts that hear the cases — and serves both sides of the file: homeowners facing foreclosure, and the lenders, servicers, and note buyers on the other side of it.
Who runs it
The directory was founded by Trajah Buxton — 15+ years in institutional real estate and distressed debt, a former Deloitte manager who advised valuation clients including major institutional investors, with thousands of loans collateral-reviewed and hands-on NPL workout experience. He is not an attorney, and the site gives no legal advice — it exists to get you to the attorney who does.

How we keep it honest
- Browsing is free and requires no account. Basic profiles are free, forever.
- Ratings shown are Google ratings, and organic list order is never sold.
- Paid placement is labelled, capped at three positions per county, and gated by published eligibility rules — the full rules are on the methodology page.
- Court information is verified against official judicial-branch sources and linked to them.

Every profile answers the same fields
Basic — free and complete on its own: firm name, location, procedure, focus, courts.
Enhanced — adds attorney bios, a full practice description, and direct contact.
Featured — one of three positions on a county page plus matched submissions; requires a Google rating of 4.0 stars or higher and at least two years in practice.
Upgrades only add — they never hide what Basic already shows.
