About this directory.
Why it exists
Foreclosure is procedure-driven: whether a state runs it through a court, a trustee, or either one decides the timeline, the defenses, and which attorney can actually carry the file. General legal directories flatten all of that.
If you are a homeowner, this is about protecting your most valuable asset — and that means the right representation: counsel admitted in your state who knows the exact court your case will be heard in. If you are an investor or lender, it is about not losing money because the file was guided by the wrong lawyer — procedure decides the timeline and the defenses, and a file in the wrong hands bleeds value at every step. This site organizes foreclosure counsel the way the work is actually organized — by state, by county, and by the courts that hear the cases — and serves both sides of the file.
Who runs it
The directory was founded by Trajah Buxton — 15+ years in institutional real estate and distressed debt, a former Deloitte manager who advised valuation clients including major institutional investors, with thousands of loans collateral-reviewed and hands-on NPL workout experience. Across those files he has seen people lose their home when they had a real chance to keep it, and watched investors lose money for want of proper legal guidance. When an asset that valuable is at stake, having an attorney to represent or guide you is imperative — that conviction is why this site exists. He is not an attorney, and the site gives no legal advice — it exists to get you to the attorney who does.

How we keep it honest
- Browsing is free and requires no account. Basic profiles are free, forever.
- Ratings shown are Google ratings.
- Paid placement is labelled and capped at three positions per county page. Featured is open only to firms holding a Google rating of 4.0 stars or higher with at least two years in practice — payment cannot substitute for either.
- Court information is verified against official judicial-branch sources and linked to them.
